[...] Pam is using her Ironman training to help raise funds for the Chesapeake Retriever Rescue of WI (that is the organization that rescued me and takes care of me – Pam fosters for them). We are hoping to raise $703 by July 17th and then reach the $1,406 goal by September 11th. HOWEVER, it would be even better if we could raise the total of both! To learn more about or help with the Ironman for Chessies, click here. [...]

Today, my little girl Lacey, left me to join with her best friend, Bullet.
Once a speedster, who could arrive on station before a thrown ball came to earth, she was slowed by a torn ligament in her leg that surgery didn't quite fix.
A fighter till the end, she carried on with her normal bearing, not allowing the pain and discomfort of these health issues to show.
She couldn't get up this morning, and so I once again made that painful, grief stricken trip to the vets, to have her suffering stilled.
Rest now, Lacey, with Rusty, Cocoa, Gunner and Bullet, to we are all joined together again.
