Summer has found her forever home. Her forever family has been her foster family and they all decided it was meant to be!

Hello, my name is Summer, and I am ready to meet my forever family! I am a beautiful 2 ½ year-old Chessie. I am solid brown with the exception of a white blaze on my chest and 2 small white patches on 2 of my feet. I am house-trained and crate-trained. I have very good manners thanks to my foster family! I am spayed, current on my vaccines and micro chipped.

The first thing you will notice about me when we meet is that I am a big sweetheart! I love people and am very affectionate and gentle. My ideal home would also include another large dog to play games with me!

I am an avid swimmer and retriever! I have A LOT of energy when I’m outside, so I need room to play, and an active family that has time to spend with me. I like kids, but prefer them to be over 8 years old. I am also told that I must have a fence at my house because I have an urge to chase critters that enter my yard! I also prefer a family that has experience working/training Chessies.
