Louie’s journey to Wisconsin will begin tonight (Friday, July 29, 2011) with a friend picking him up for the vet to overnight at their place so he is ready for the first leg of his ride. Louie’s journey will take him through:

• 7 states (LA, MS, TN, AR, MO, IL and WI)
• 13 drivers and vehicles
• Almost 1200 miles traveled

Please say a prayer for Louie and his drivers this weekend that they have a safe and event-free journey. A very special Thank You to all of Louie’s Driving Angels!!! (Margaret, John, Cathy, Cherry, Carl, Donna, Chuck, Mike, Tracy, Jeff, Rachel, Kathy and Sue) You are giving this little guy a chance that many other people won’t and all of us Thank You on his behalf. Each of these people will be driving 100-200 miles to help move Louie north.

Monday morning Louie has an appointment with one of the CRROW vets to determine the extent of his heartworm disease and the treatment plan he will be given. We will post the findings of his visit early next week.
